Developed from an older piece, Chimera represents fusion. Harmony between man and its surroundings is a timeless idea. With this piece I wanted to present the fusion of man and beast to highlight the level of harmony we should have with our environment. For an ideal to be successful it must also contain caution, what if we do not strive to thus ideal? Fusing man and beast together can create a powerful ideal if successful, but if we were to fail, to not live in harmony with our surroundings we will fail as a species. We are already damaging beyond repair ecosystems that we rely upon so much, both fates are linked and if we continue the way we are we will doom the environment and therefore dooming ourselves.
